How to run this meeting
-
Write your goal before it starts
One sentence is enough. It tells you which slides to write down and which to ignore, and it makes the final action list easy to fill in.
-
Note timestamps, not full sentences
When you hear a number or a quote, write the time and a few words, such as '23:40, subject line test, 11 points'. You can fill in detail later from the recording and stay with the speaker.
-
Keep questions in a separate list
Add questions as they come up and submit them in the Q&A panel. Mark which were answered. Unanswered ones become emails to the speaker or topics for the next session.
-
Spend 10 minutes afterwards on actions
Right after the session, turn the key points into three actions with dates and share the notes. Notes you do not use within a day are rarely read again.
Stop typing and get the notes from the recording
A webinar moves fast, and typing means missing the next slide. Speak AI can join the session on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, or take the recording you upload.
- Record the webinar, or upload the recording file afterwards.
- Get a searchable transcript, with speakers labelled and 100+ languages supported.
- Get an automatic summary of the key points, numbers and quotes.
- Get action items from the session, and ask the library questions across several webinars.

الأسئلة الشائعة
What should I write in webinar notes?
Write the speaker, date, your goal, key points in your own words, numbers with timestamps, tools mentioned, questions, and your actions. Skip what you already knew, and never try to transcribe every sentence.
What is the best way to take notes in a webinar?
Set a goal first, then write timestamps and short phrases instead of full sentences, keep a separate question list, and spend ten minutes afterwards turning the notes into actions. Recording the session lets you fill gaps later.
How do I write a webinar summary?
Start with the main takeaway in one sentence, then list three to five key points with the numbers behind them, then the recommended actions. Add the speaker, date and recording link so readers can check the source.
Can I get a webinar transcript and summary automatically?
Yes. Upload the recording, or have a meeting recorder join the session, and you get a transcript with speakers labelled plus an automatic summary and action items. Check numbers against the transcript before you share them.
How do I use this template as a webinar host?
Use the same sections to write a post-event summary: key points, numbers, resources shared and questions answered, then follow-up actions. Send it with the recording to registrants who missed the live session.
